ant Technologies to automate TOPSERVICE’s warehouse
ant Technologies, a leading provider of IT solutions for logistics, announces the launch of a project for introduction of the Logistic Vision Suite system at the warehouse of TOPSERVICE. Within the project ant Technologies will automate the company’s two-story warehouse of 6,000 square meters of total area.
Today TOPSERVICE is the fast-growing manufacturer and wholesale distributor taking the leading positions on the market of power-saving electrical goods.
The company is specialized in marketing, manufacturing and wholesale distribution of COSMOS brand products. Production is manufactured in 6 factory in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, China, Korea and Japan. and delivered in the largest trading networks.
The Logistic Vision Suite, a software suit that is already successfully used to manage certain leading Russian wholesale companies, has been chosen to be a software platform for the warehouse management. Within the project all typical warehousing operations will be automated: receiving, Put-Away, picking and shipment of wide range of electrical goods: valves, lamps, batteries, flashlights, electrical appliances.
To choose the integrator for a WMS solution TOPSERVICE has held a competitive bidding with the participation of several leading providers of WMS systems in the Russian market. As a result TOPSERVICE chose ant Technologies and it's complex solution based on Logistic Vision Suite which responding to all basic requirements of the customer: full automation of warehousing operations with unique features (for example, picking management operations of heavy and fragile goods – batteries, volves and others), the possibility to integrate WMS with the corporate system, the possibility to replicate the system in the second company's warehouse. Besides ant Technologies has a great expirience in wholesale werehouses' automation, the one of the latest large project is rolling out the Logistic Vision Suite in distribution centre of Domocentr (Novosibirsk) which provides its trade network of 24 stores.
The basic system Warehouse Vision will be deployed across 30 workstations. Besides Logistic Vision Suite will be intagrate with Microsoft Axapta. The propose solution includes Motorola wireless equipment and data collection terminals, and Zebra Technologies commercial label printers.
