ant Technologies Completes Projects to Deploy Maintenance Service Management System for Severnoye Domodedovo

ant Technologies has completed its pilot project to deploy a maintenance service and repair management system for the Severnpye Domodedovo Industrial & Logistic Complex managed by I.Q. Property Management Open Operating Systems.

I.Q. Property Management Open Operating Systems is engaged in managing warehouse  properties and operating a chain of warehouse complexes, office buildings and shopping centers. The properties under its management include a Class A logistics флоп complex in Severnoye Domodedovo (11 kilometers from the Moscow Ring Road).

The  customer company’s business area requires uninterrupted functioning of a great number of various pieces of equipment (such as ventilation, fire fighting, air conditioning, electric power, heat-point and other systems) as part of operation of various real estate facilities. Not only will the deployment of a new system called iMaint allow carrying out efficient technical management of maintenance service processes for all the equipment in use in line with the applicable international standards, but it will also make it possible to plan preventive maintenance services thereby reducing operating costs.

Developed by foreign partners of ant Technologies, iMaint (www.i-maint.com) is a powerful and practical management system designed to efficiently manage business tangible assets, optimize maintenance service and repair processes and reduce costs. It is a unique instrument for improving business performance, minimizing equipment faults and downtime and enhancing utilization efficiency of labor and material resources. iMaint is capable of performing the following tasks in an integrated and efficient manner:

• Efficient management of equipment and installations;
• Planning and monitoring of all maintenance service and repair operations to ensure that all works are completed in due time;
• Monitoring and reducing maintenance and hidden costs caused by faulty equipment;

iMaint has attracted customer interest due to its rich functionality and customizability provided by its open modular architecture. It can be successfully used both in a small company and a stand-alone application and in a large corporation.

The pilot project has resulted in iMaint successfully having been deployed in the Moscow office of I.Q. Property Management Open Operating Systems, enabling the company to manage the maintenance service in respect of both the assets of the Severnoye Domodedovo Logistic Park and the equipment of its tenants. Under that project, ant Technologies specialists provided an integrated package of services, including analysis and formalization of the customer’s business needs, system setup and numerous improvements in line with the customer’s desires. For example, a new functionality was developed to assess work quality and timing, statistics and reports, new forms and functions added, an Internet and mobile versions of the system created, and an additional possibility provided to notify engineering staff on new work orders by SMS and e-mail in both manual and automatic modes. At the final, pre-commissioning phase of the project, the ant Technologies Training and Consulting Center provided a complete training package for the staff on how to operate the new system.

During 2008 and 2009, I.Q. Property Management Open Operating Systems is going to introduce a centralized maintenance service plan for all its regional facilities, a move that would require the company to purchase up to 100 iMaint licenses.
