WMS Logistics Vision Suite is the Corporate Standard for STS/RLS Logistics

ant Technologies, the leading IT logistics solutions provider in the Russian market, has signed a partnership agreement with STS/RLS Logistics, a logistics operator, to automate its warehouse network.

ant Technologies has been previously successful working with the RLS (Russian Logistics Service) logistics operator – in 2007-2008 the company completed comprehensive automation, based on WMS Logistics Vision Suite (LVS), of five RLS Class А warehouses in Khabarovsk, Samara, the Moscow Region, Yekaterinburg, and St. Petersburg, with a total of 140,000 pallet spaces.

“The Logistics Vision Suite system has become a corporate standard in warehouse business process management for RLS, which enables us to provide high quality services to our clients,” says Maksim Kolchin, the STS/RLS Logistics director of operations.  “This WMS system has proven to be a powerful modern solution with a wide range of functional capabilities, that meets all needs of a logistics operator, and that was the crucial factor in our decision to have the system deployed at the STS/RLS Logistics warehouses.”  Additionally, the client was highly appreciative of the system’s potential for customization to meet client needs, and to have its functionality expanded by implementing additional modules of the Logistic Vision Suite family, as well as the quick implementation timeframe.

As part of the current agreement, ant Technologies has already implemented a pilot project on the deployment of  the Logistics Vision Suite WMS system at four of the network’s warehouses – in St. Petersburg (17,814 sq. m.), Rostov-on-Don (360 sq. m.), Novosibirsk (2,150 sq. m.), and Yekaterinburg (23,205 sq. m.) and setting up maintenance services for one of the operator’s largest clients – Setra Lubricants, which is part of the British Petroleum holding company and the exclusive importer of Castrol and BP lubricants in Russia. In addition to the base module, the team deployed a billing system and a module for arranging integration with the client’s external ERP system (SAP R/3), which will enable efficient organizing of electronic document flow.  The project was implemented on a tight timeframe – within 1.5 months.
